Crying over dumb animals

This morning was one of those mornings that I must admit that my sister is right; my father would have absolutely no respect for me. One of his complaints about me while I was growing up is that I cried over dumb animals. While I did not cry this morning, it still felt like my heart was being ripped out. It is never a good day when it starts off with burying a dead cat. I only had Bruno for a year; I am going to miss the little goofball.

Oh gosh... I'm really sorry to hear that.

Nobody respects 'pet grief' enough. That was a family member you had for a whole year.

I've buried some cats. I've cried. Been there. My sympathies

So your father would have no respect for you for crying at the loss of a loved one...

My condolences at the loss of Bruno.

And try to remember, four legged creatures such as Bruno are dumb only in their inability to deliberately express such bile and poison to their own gene pool. (not an eloquent sentence, but I am sure you understand my point.)

I would suggest that you feel no guilt about the loss of a loved one even it if it a cat and they are definately not stupid. It shows that you are a real human being and have feelings only if thw world could be filled with more people like that. I have been there but I still love animals and found that life can be filled with hapiness when you have the little furry creatures there that always give love.

I hope that you find light and blessing in your life.

I even cry about blog posts about dead animals. My sympathies, and cry all you want.
