Today marks the 50th anniversary of the theater release of the 1962 film, Dr. No--the first film in the James Bond franchise.
And I am looking forward to the release of Skyfall on November 9th.
The first movie I ever remember seeing was The Spy Who Loved Me.
Did this have an effect on me? Yes. One of the series that I am writing is the Basil James series, which is James Bond meets Harry Pottter (my elevator pitch).
