BNW: Farrell is started his own Order

Well, the big news of the week is that Nick Farrell is starting his own magical Order, The Magical Order of Aurora Aurea. I have nothing else to add to this, other than to say it will be interesting to watch how it unfolds. Personally, I will be only watching from the sidelines---I have my plate full between university classes, maintaining a relationship and a couple of friendships, and the Inner Order course that I am taking. Oh, and the occasional freelance writing and lodge meeting that I engage in. I just do not know where I would be able to hack out another hour or two a day (every day of the week) to do yet another course.

A Morgan (Dear Morgan),

Well the correspondence course is an adaptation of the HACOMA (don't ask me what that stands for, before my time alas) course that Nick was mentoring in. He's carried some members from it over.

If there turns out to be a few members of the course in the same general area attempts will be made to introduce everyone and explore establishing an Anticum, which is more generic working group but can form a foundation to a full temple after initiation.

These are all possibilities and depend on variables obviously but as you say time will tell. Like if people do have the time or inclination to join the correspondence course they are free to do so. By the sounds of it you have a lot on your plate Morgan so I don't think anyone could fault you for not signing up right away. ;)

HCOMA stands for Hermetic College of Magical Arts. It's also an Enochian word related to the Water Tablet in the GD system.

I think the Correspondence Course is more targetted towards people who are relatively new to the system and have no access to a temple or Order.

Dean.
